I have a 2002 (or 2001) Wallas stove, flush mount with pot retainers. The ceramic top is cracked. I considered using a high temp caulk but instead went with a new unit and wow! they are really improved and pricy. However, trying to downsize with my advancing age I will ship it to anyone for the cost of shipping. It was working as good as they ever did when I removed it so parts should be good except the top ceramic. No fuel tank, fuel line, exhaust piping or thru hull. Reply with a personal message or email.

Up until the top cracked I never had any trouble with this unit. I always turned it on with the outboards running to get full voltage and started it and shut it down (last 5 minutes or more) on full heat.
Email best way to contact me.

"A ship in a harbour is safe, but that is not what ships are built for".

Hi Jay,
I'm not sure you got my first message. The message is in my outbox but not the sent box. So might be stuck!
I am interested in the wallas stove if it's still available. Let me know and we can work out details of payment and shipping costs.
Thank you!
Karsten

Is some cases it is safer to be at sea than in a harbor.

This is certainly true in many cases - estimated sea state VS the perceived protection the harbour would offer from predicted weather.

Just a quote on a wall plaque I have had for years similar to Kars 10 tag line.
