This Marinaut feature always interested me but I wondered how practical it actually was. So Marinaut owners, did you and do you ever remove yours, do you find it difficult, and do you now feel that this is a worthwhile feature?
I really like the looks of no bulkhead with a full camperback. That makes that little boat look huge.

Removing bulkhead depends upon use. I just completed making the rear enclosure for my Marinaut. It’s great for summertime family & friends daysailing. However, for cruising it can’t be taken along as an option, so for staying in marinas or town docks for touring towns and restaurants, it presents a security issue. As for taking it off, a few bolts and a helper to hand off to is simple removing door helps to lighten it up. |
