Call me skeptical. Those will likely leak lube sooner than later. If you want a proven upgrade go with oil bath hubs.

I've thought about oil bath hubs to eliminate the mess that goes with the grease-gun type, but I have yet to research them. What is the recommended brand(s), how much are they, how difficult are they to install, and how well do they work?

Like most others, I always used the bearing buddies. Then this last trailer (an EZ Loader) had the oil bath hubs and I was skeptical. But, amazingly, after a year of use, and a lot of miles, these things are still working perfectly. I am REALLY skeptical of the Air Hubs. I had bearing buddies that fell off with some regularity, and under little or no pressure. Don't know about these. But they could surprise us as well.

I have been looking at those...and they look pretty nice...I have always used bearing buddies... the oil kits are $57 each and include the hub and all... for us that travel, probably a good deal. I think the first thing I want to do on my trailer is change out the drum brakes for a disk brake setup...(about $150 each)...first on the two braking wheels then later if needed I will do the 2 others...........

I lost two this summer which is why I'm searching for a new system. Just to add to the confusion I add this link.http://www.fishingworld.com/GoneFishin/BuyingBoat/Read.tmpl?SKU=11142209821115126
