Afternoon;
Putting our 2001 tomcat up here first.
We bought the boat 2022 and have really enjoyed it. Job changes mean we dont need it for the commuting/overnights that we used it for!
Its a 2001 Tomcat, old style with no shower or head.
The previous owner repowered it with suzuki 140's. They have 1400hrs and climbing. Both, and I have done the maintenance ourselves and the engines are in great shape. Did the yearly kits this year and everything came apart easily and looked good. After looking at the anodes upon purchase I have been changing them and the oil every 6 months and we have put about 150 hrs on the engines since we bought in October 2022. The previous owner kept it on a trailer and I have kept it in the water. It is fully barrier coated and bottom painted. I had it checked at a suzuki dealer upon purchase and the shims are in spec.
The 140s are fitted with planing fins and she comfortably does 22-24 knots dependent on trim, 4200 rpm, consuming 26 litres(5.8 gal) per hour, per engine. Works out to about 100$/hr here in canada. Both myself and the previous owner fish extensively and many of the hours are trolling hours.
She does about 32knots WOT at 6200rpm.
Outfit:
Novakool fridge.
Single house battery, replaced in 2022
Victron 13a battery charger. can charge single or all three batteries
Electric freshwater pump
Previous owner replaced the fuel tanks approx 8/9 years ago at time of repower.
Lowrance HDS 9 with nmea network fitted and able to display on screen(see instruments on the screen including fuel, voltage etc)
downrigger mount and plugs
washdown system
furuno radar
wallas heater/stove
new bimini and interior window covers
windlass
webbing stern reel
radar arch with mounts for reels and 4 rocket launchers
additional steering station at aft
radio with distress button
new, unused portapotty available
hose style drains on cockpit drain
Trailer:
2 axle aluminum beam trailer, wood bunks
Electric over hydraulic discs
moderate condition but operational and usable
bearings and pads replaced 2024
Great fishing boat, great family boat. Runs beautifully and have felt very comfortable aboard, even in 14 foot breakers! The planing fins give a great ability to put the bows down in rough weather and still maintain 15-18 knots
Vessel is located in Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast, BC
It can be brought to Vancouver for viewing and testing
62,000$ USD
Email for pictures and further details if actually interested! |
