2006 C-Dory 22 Cruiser for sale
I’m looking to get into a larger boat, possibly a 25 Cruiser. So my very well cared for 22 is now up for sale. It spent most of its life in fresh water, currently in North Idaho on Lake Pend O’reille in a covered slip. Winters in a heated storage unit. The boat has the original Honda 90 4 stroke engine with approximately 385 hours and a 9.9 Honda kicker that has power tilt, electric start and a Troll Master speed control to precisely control the trolling speed. 2 spare propellers. New this year, a Standard Horizon 2400 Matrix VHF with DSC and AIS receive. The other electronics (Raymarine C80 radar, GPS plotter, Sonar) are original 2006 vintage. They all work well. The interior was modified when new to include a sliding and reversible passenger seat, a v-berth cut out to allow easier ingress/egress and air circulation. 22 gallons fresh water, Wallas stove/heater, Lewmar anchor winch, 30’ chain, 150’ rode. Bennett Trim tabs and a Permatrim in the main engine. Also included is a complete canvas package that includes full aft compartment cover with clear vinyl glass with bug screens and blackout panels. I also have a complete full boat winter storage cover that I have never used. Interior window and door night covers and a screen insert for the center opening window. It rides on an EZ Loader Aluminum I-Beam trailer with hydraulic disc brakes that are new this past spring. I paid up for this boat 2 years ago because it had everything on it that I wanted and was in excellent condition. The bottom has never been painted and shines! I’m asking exactly what I paid for it. $47,500. It will be in the water until mid September if you would like a sea trial.

This looks like an exceptionally clean boat and well equipped boat from the photos. I didn't see the Autopilot mentioned, but that is another feature, which fills out the "well equiped" boat. I had the same auto pilot on the last 25 I owned, and it worked very well. This boat should sell very quickly.
Did you have to clean the bottom during the season, or was the lake cold enough to not have any growth? _________________ Bob Austin

Bob, thanks for the support. It does have the Raymarine autopilot, but I never use it, I’ve hit too many logs in Puget Sound over the years, so I try to keep both hands in the wheel and eyes ahead. The lake runs about 70f during the summer and at the end I just have a light film that I clean off with On/Off Cleaner. |

That has to be close to a record of a C Dory 22 sale. (My second 25 sold in two hours.) But the buyer had bid on that boat when I first bought it.
I am not surprised that your boat sold that quickly---if you want a primo boat--you have to act rapidly!! Congratulations to both you and the buyer. |
