New gear case and lower unit oil
New OEM Honda water pump kit
Like new 08’ Honda BF90D 317 hrs ***
Moeller FT2699

Deck re-cored this summer with 1.5” balsa, encapsulated core with two layers each side 1700 and epoxy. Painted with awlgrip and griptex non skid. Better and stronger than from factory! Best advice I can give for buying a C Dory is buy a moisture meter!

I have the cockpit canvas enclosure as well.

Can deliver if needed.

Certainly a nice clean looking boat. The repairs having been properly done actually enhance the value. The 2008 motor should be fuel injected; a plus.

What canvas does she have? I see the awning rail, but not a support for Bimini frame, or snaps for the slant back. Is it a drop curtain for the cabin, a Bimini, slant back or full camper canvas?

Marie would kill me if I bought this--but I sure would consider it.

Hi Mr. Bob! What a process it was but I am more than happy with the work done. The motor is pristine, and is fuel injected 4 stroke.

By canvas I mean that I have the drop curtain for the cabin. I have a second baby on the way, if I had time for a Bahia Honda trip with the boat, I'd keep her but I think it will be a while before that happens so she's for sale. What a boat it would be for down there! Running to the reefs whilst staying out of the sun. For a couple or single person, it would be the ultimate platform.

Haha well it is an awesome boat. I think it gets overlooked but the open back is such a nice platform for fishing and cruising. Being able to turn the seats around and look out the back is a phenomenal way to spend time on the water, I prefer it to the closed cabin of the 22.

Did I price it too low Smile?

I don't think the price is "too low". From what I see, it looks like a good buy. Priced well. Items which would raise the value: A current model chart plotter, Radar, Windlass, Full camper back, slant cover for the cockpit. One boat had the boxes which could be used as seats, converted into a mini galley. A table between the two seats etc. Those are items which would bring the selling price up. It looks as if there is an older radio? IF it is older than 2011 it may not have the DSC capability. That has been required since 2011. Without those items, the new buyer can spend the $ 25,000 in adding them. (OK a slight exaggeration). The larger fuel tanks would also probably bring the value up.

If you paid a professional to repair the cockpit floor,, then you have a lot "invested". I probably have sold some of my boats at "too low" a price. But it was what I thought it was worth. Your boat has been on Craig's List and Facebook for several weeks, and apparently no one has jumped in to buy the boat. It is the end of the season where you are--but further South, the season is just getting started. The 19 is a great boat for fishing, and day trips. The 22 with its dinette and galley are better for overnight or extended cruising.

There are multiple factors. I prefer a boat which has minimal equiptment, so that I can add those accessories which I like and can enjoy. That is this boat. Some will like it just as it is and not want the extras--but a modern or two modern radios. I would consider (this means that the radio should be DSC equipped.) I also like having a hand held radio aboard.

I see Anglers in the mid 30's and up price range which I presume had to do with all of the add ons as you say but I am forever suspect now of the cores in the C Dorys 19 and 22's so I think this is a good buy for particularly the reason it has a new deck with epoxy and 1700 and not with the factory (in my opinion inferior) poly resin and matt and woven roving. Am surprised she hasn't sold yet.

Thanks for reminding me about the season just getting started in the south and ending up north. I have listed her down there just now, I can meet a buyer mid way or maybe bring it all the way. Hopefully this will help in selling her. I too prefer a boat with mini equipment, especially at this size. Thank you for your input Mr. Bob, you are one of a kind and a treasure for us on this forum.
