Turn your main motor as far as it will go to the side your going to mount the kicker. Turn the kicker towards the main and adjust it so they don't hit each other. Also check them when they are tilled.

Disconnect the steering ram from the motor and see if the motor binds when moving it by hand. Then turn the wheel with it disconnected and see if it binds or is free. The only time my Garmin stalls is when it reaches the end of the cylinder.

What was the temperature of the water when you did that. Changing the temperature of the water will cause that. 50 degree water will be more dense than 100 degree water.

You should be able to read it right off of the motors computer. All you need is a NMEA 2000 network and the Suzuki Digital gauge. It will read it right off of the fuel injection. Mine will be within a tenth of a gallon when I refill. It will give you gallons per hour flow, fuel remaining, mile...

Have you tried unplugging and plugging in the multi pin connector cable a few times. maybe a little oxidation there.

No better time to go out and trace the wires then you will know for sure.
