The 1000 runs the AC fine, and is so much lighter than the 2000.
Honda generator strapped down.
Made with thick starboard and aluminum angle, it's bolted together.
After adding the AC unit to the boat, I added this generator mount/"bridge". In winter, when the AC and gen are in storage (Solar panels handle everything else.), I use this as an easy way to stern depart the boat.
The unit is retracted when not in use. In the Fall, it's easily lifted out and stored in the garage, leaving this space for storage.
Barrier drops into place. Unit is ready to turn on.
Unit is extended out for use. Return air enters through louvers in plenum wall, cycles through heat exchanger, and exits through the duct work. (Louvers, backordered, had not yet been installed when this pic was taken. They would be in the lower wall, midship.)
