after cleaning the bilge with bleach and Jo Max I took a break and came back to find this puddle that had seeped from the anchor locker aft to the V-berth (the boat was on trailer with bow elevated)

The House battery was not strapped down... rather it was sitting on the bottom ledge of the Galley and leaned against the shelf. First thing was to make a support for a 3/4\" marine ply floor, fiberglassed, glued and screwed in place for support
layers of glass and epoxy followed by epoxy paint (light coat on the inside of the drain as well)
a shim of treated wood raised the bottom of the locker to at least the level of the drain

on deck with 5200 and countersunk screws - there to stay (hopefully)
3/4 Marine Ply w/ 2X2 railings and double straps
corner complete - now for heavy duty battery support
