07 Our comforter in place, which does not prevent air from circulating through the HyperVent along the sides of the hull so long as the comforter does not touch the hull wall. 9/26/12 update: we ditched the comforter early in the season and continue to use our old configuration as described in our folder "Marinaut 215 Berth Set Up for the "Betty Ann"" We are also pleased to report that we have had no issues with condensation at all this year since installing the Hypervent.

06 Berth Cushion in place. Please note we cut the HyperVent 6 inches in circumferance larger than the Berth cushion to allow the Hypervent to extend up the sides. IMPORTANT UPDATE JULY 2012. We had to cut the excess hypervent material to just fit the berth cushion's dimensions after several restless nights sleeping. We found that the original configuration caused the berth cushion to curl up slightly along the sides, forcing us to sleep in the middle. The manufacturer's instructions were right! We now sleep soundly, with no condensation underneath the cushion.

02 Pattern of Contact Stik sheets placed on HyperVent membrane. I then peeled off the top layer to expose the Contact Stick glue strip, and then laid down the overlapping flap on the other piece to join the two pieces together. 9/26/12 update: it's been a full season and the tape is holding fast!
