Pump switches were getting bad reviews, so I went with a new-fangled water sensing switch. The wiring is in a plastic coated flexible aluminum conduit left over from another project. Looks like it will work great.

I broke the screen on my original bilge pump when tearing it off to fix the balsa penetration. I decided to upgrade because some of the newer pumps are getting good reviews a. Plus, the through hull is now on the other side so a new improved hose was also installed.
