This is a little plastic-coated stainless wire combination lock generally used to keep people from walking off with your laptop or skateboard. I bought a lot of 10 cheap on Ebay and use them for electronics, etc. Good wire snips would cut it, but not a pocket knife or a hard tug.

Like most radios, mine just has twist knobs to hold it to the bracket. I used the right length screw to drill a hole through the knob and into the bracket (and not into the radio). The bracket can't be removed with the radio in place. A thief would need to figure out the problem and have a short-shaft #2 square drive screwdriver.
