Tap the rusty hideous looking caliper and pads back in place; next year I?ll put on some new pads. Run in the caliper bolts and you?re done.

This really works, fill-er-up. Fill the oil cap completely full with gear oil than twist it on. Even if you don?t catch the thread perfectly and have to back twist you probable will not lose more than a drop or two. Believe me this is a lot easier than trying to fill the hub through the little hole in top. A full cap will top it off perfectly, its how they do it at the factory.

Tighten the wheel bold tells it?s good and snug, than back it off about 1/8th to 1/4th turn. Install lock ring and a new cotter pin.

Us a block of wood and rubber mallet to gently tap the seal into place. Work around the edges with the mallet and frequently check to make sure it?s going in straight.

Twist off cap and let drain. Remove cotter pin and bolt, hub will now slide off. Remove front bearing and washer.

A long bar or steal rode works great to secure the wheel while removing cap. Next time I will loosen the caps before removing the wheel, da!

Make sure you have placed a jack stand on each axel. If your trailer is duel axel only remove one wheel at a time, this provides a higher level of safety.
