used a different combination of glass for the 2nd part. it was a lot lighter, but plenty strong still. it was easy to demold with the rubber tipped air nozzle
hope it will last for one more part! I now have a hole drilled in the mold for part removal
mdf was a bad idea. and prying on it was also a bad idea
