Another way to lock using chain and shackle, a padlock but that rattles if you run it with the padlock in place
my fuel water separator sits outside on the other end of this motor well and has an extra outlet for me to run a direct fuel line to the generator. I do have a Wise extended run tank.
exhaust out the back, motor well to keep noise and fumes at a mimimum,boat should swing into the wind. Summer in New Jersey it's nice to close up the boat and run air conditioning to sleep cool with out the flying critters climbing in bed with you.

Generator with northeast style theft deterrents installed. Boy this is starting to look like an over kill. Chain will get canvas cover except for the ends
plate installed on existing swim platform bolts, small angles welded to prevent generator from sliding around. will make wood or starboard plate with anti skid to go on plate when generator is not in use.Will also double use as a bait board. Pic's later. Just using generator at anchor stays in cockpit while underway.
Drilled out shackle to fit a trailer pin lock, chain slips onto shackle pin lock goes thru a welded eye mounted to the stainless steel plate
