Heading back home after some WOT speed runs in Guemes Channel to test the new prop. After reading some Merc performance reports decided to try a 16Dx13" instead of the 15x15, it brought me from the low-mid RPM range to the high end of the RPM range and only a couple mph top end loss (28 mph). On last trip I noticed the boat had gained a lot of weight over the first 2 years and the waterline was never visible (I emptied about 200 lbs of unused stuff after that trip too). I may actually go back to the 15x15 for normal loads because I really like cruising around 3000 rpm.
