Lots of interesting snags on the shoreline. In several places there would be a row of little pilings like sometime in the past there had been a tug boat on the lake, but I saw no evidence of past logging along the lake. Clear cuts to the west were visible from the lake.
This could be a mooring buoy in front of this camp area or a marker for a submerged rock. Probably the latter.
Rocky Point also has the most private land with cabins that are grandfathered. There are probably about 15 cabins on the lake. Not many considering Lake Ozette is the third largest lake in Washington.

One exception was Rocky Point. The bolders went out into the water, some just barely touching the surface and others, like this one marked with crab pot buoys, were just under the surface.
The shoreline often had large bolders at the edge, but the bottom was generally smooth sandy mud.
The understory along the shoreline was mostly wild crab apple.

This is the launch by the Ozette Ranger Station. I had heard that it was shallow and didn't have a dock, but that has changed.
