I wanted to sneak a peek up East Sound but the winds and waves were so persistent I couldn't comfortably get around this point. In fact, I only saw 3 or 4 other boats pass by all day long!

Around 4 PM I finally made it to shore. A wonderful beach for beaching (nice and steep with smooth pea gravel, no barnacles or weeds)
The other 2 buoys
On one of the three Park mooring buoys at Obstruction Pass State Park
I wanted to sneak a peek up East Sound but the winds and waves were so persistent I couldn't comfortably get around this point. In fact, I only saw 3 or 4 other boats pass by all day long!
Such clear blue skies. The stars and milkyway were also exceptionally bright at night.
Some Black Oystercatchers along the shore
A perfect anchorage for the weather conditions - protected from the northerly winds, and with the warm October sun shining from the south. Felt more like summer!
