I'm not convinced that Petroglyph Cove ever had petroglyphs. There are some reddish stains (which could indicate obscured pictographs), but there are all kinds of mineral stains on the overhang.

Extremely calm and deserted.
The walk to the "outside" of Rugged Point was partially on a boardwalk though some interesting trees.
Rugged Point Cove viewed from the "inside." The tide was high, so we used our bungie cord anchor to keep us off of the beach.

This guy was guarding the entrance to Petroglyph Cove when we stayed there and every time we went past.
