rear of motor well with dink bracket removed, will screw snap back in for use when we don't use the dink motor bracket
cockpit side view. Used contact cement and a pleated white garbage bag on the inside of the mount it just sides down over the motor wells transom. The bare aluminum left black marks on Will-C. No marks now it just slides on or off when we need to carry the dink motor. Our slant back canvas still fits with the dink motor bracket in place.
pic from the motor well side. bolted red oak recessed stainless bolts cut out recessed circles with a hole saw and then used a wood chisel to remove wood so the round part of the dink motors clamp sits in the round recess. The little sucker 2.5 Yamaha 37 pounds rode here on our portion of the Maine Cruise never moved. Note snap on the plate reinstalled for the rear curtain for our camper top.Now through bolted to prevent any movement and to prevent motor from being taken by just lifting off bracket.

1/4 inch alum T6061 the side with the wood is 12"x 7" wide long the flat piece is 7" square the short part of the h is 8". The distance inside the h for a 23' Venture's transom is 6 3/4 inches.
We lock the motor on to this mount as the two screw clamps that tighten it t the transom have holes for a long shank pad lock
