Nice and clean. Some "GOOF-OFF", a single edged razor & elbow grease did the trick. Very minimal damage to the gelcoat; a few scratches but nothing major. Now to repair the holes & re-gelcoat prior to kicker install. The wire for the transducer will also be properly installed; I didn't want it to interfere w/ the Mini-Jacker.

Finally started to give way.

Another issue that is solved. The swim step would hit the engine when I turned full to starboard as evidenced by the small damage to the cowl. No more. I'll make sure to mount it w/ 1" or so of clearance now.
I can now more easily address this. The transom cap coming unglued. Plan is some black 4200 and clamps.
Some damage to the gelcoat. Couldn't be avoided as this was the first side I started working on. Better this than the hull.
Enough sealant or what?

Swim step removal.

Swim step removal. The tools; a sharpened putty knife, nylon spatula,heat gun, rubber mallet, 2X6 & a floor jack. You can see the step actually bending under the load but not budging.
