This is the "surf" from the Pacific swell. I found a sand dollar, but being as it was Canadian, it was really only 78 cents.
Extremely calm and deserted.
The walk to the "outside" of Rugged Point was partially on a boardwalk though some interesting trees.

I'm not convinced that Petroglyph Cove ever had petroglyphs. There are some reddish stains (which could indicate obscured pictographs), but there are all kinds of mineral stains on the overhang.
This guy was guarding the entrance to Petroglyph Cove when we stayed there and every time we went past.
