Looking over the anchorage from above the landing toward the light house. If you look at the cliff carefully you'll see it's loaded with gulls.
South African Sea Fig Iceplant. Though an exotic species that outcompetes the endemics, a beautiful flower.

The original lense of the lighthouse is stored onsite in a small museum -- well worth seeing.

Amazing birding on Anacapa -- East Anacapa is the major Western Gull rookery while West Anacapa is the primary Brown Pelican rookery.
