The marina had one guest moorage spot for a boat under 17 foot with a draft under 9 inches. Perfect.
I then went to Holberg because nobody goes to Holberg. This is the marina. Holberg is a mile away.
This is the old whaling station at Coal Harbor. It is now used for working on float planes.
The next day the water was calm and I went to Coal Harbor.
Had a nice sunset.
There was a log raft of what appeared to be salvaged cedar. I just tied up to it.
I went in to a little harbor on the south of Buchholz Channel for the night.

This is where the highway to Port Alice crosses the Marble River. Years ago I kayaked down the river and then paddled to Coal Harbor to run the shuttle. Lots of caves along the river, some showing signs of human habitation.
