Getting into the canyons early means that the slalom racers aren't making waves and you can see things like this.
Sunrise pictures are nice.
In places, the water came up from below, like an artesian well. In the center of the picture are two little "sand boils" where water is coming in from underground. Not exactly Yellowstone, but still interesting.

Another neighbor. I haven't identified this one yet.
The easiest hike. The little stream didn't make it to the lake, but the further up I went the bigger it got.
