The local Coast Guard buoy tender fleet.
A barge moored just up river of the bridge.
We could see this bridge from about seven miles out. This marks the end of the days cruise and the entrance to Paris Landing Marina.

Looks pretty shallow to me.
The two channels are separated by large areas of very shallow water.

We drove to KY Dam Marina on Thursday 10/16/08, the first day of fall break. There were clouds and light rain for much of the drive....perfect C-Dory weather. Our heater worked fine so we started up river. The wildlife started immediately with this bird just outside the marina.
