The understory along the shoreline was mostly wild crab apple.
Most of the beaches had a camp area with a stone fire ring.
There were a few little beaches.

I let the boat drift into the shore vegetation, climbed up on the gunnel, and took this picture. He doesn't seem too concerned.
As I got closer, it laid down in the brush.
Back in civilization, I saw this buck on the shore.
