Used up some of the left over mahogany and birch ply from the fridge shelf project to fill in the opening at the front of the v-berth. Velcro tabs used to keep it in place and to keep it from rattling.

Here it is on the entrance to the V-berth. This is where it will live most of the time. The little box will be great for binoculars and other junk that tends to accumulate up there.
We were seriously lacking in the cup holder department so I made this little cup holder/storage-caddy thingy this week.
Filler board in place. Just have to figure out a cushion now. Anybody have any matching material from 1989? Lol...

While I doubt the fridge shelf would slide out on it's own I added this spiffy little slide bolt latch to secure it while underway, "just in case".
Here's one of the finished mahogany strips across the top of the cabin.

Then I pulled this destroyer wheel from the fishing boat, wrapped it with some 550 Paracord, and installed it in the Dory. Nice little update from the "vintage" plastic wheel.
