Well it has been a long time since I have made a comment on this site. The subject has involved Ranger Tugs and really caught my attention.
Jeff and I have developed many strong relationships with C-dory customers and those will never break. I get emails on a regular basis with questions...
I do not build the C-dory's anymore but the screws around the perimeter are what need to be removed. I would then take a razor knife and cut the seal all the way around. Floor comes up in one solid piece and shouldn't be a huge deal to remove. The hardest part is cleaning up the silicone and...
I did speak with Richard about this on the phone. I was really trying to make it sound like a big problem and this would definitely require my attention in Hawaii. John and Jeff didn't agree. Maybe next time :D
Unless something was changed on your boat the way it runs is as follows. The multi port strainer supplies three items. Washdown, Engine and Head. The AC & Gen have there own thru hulls which is required (Port side) The AC seacock is the one fursthest forward which its strainer is accesible...
We can never take enough praise from our very loyal group of customers. We (Ranger Tugs) all love what we do and we are all very fortunate to run across some great Ranger and C-dory owners! That must be why we get the praise. Thanks for the great compliments guys!

2. For tie down of the stern on the...
Sea wolf is 100% correct. We have wiring schematics but they change very frequently. I have an owners manual completed but is going to vary from your boat being this is the most updated version. I have sent Charlie at wefings a hand drawn schematic of the thruster wiring. If you would...
In your boats it is : 1. Engine Battery 2. Thruster and Windlass 3. House bank. Feel free to contact me at anytime and we can discuss more about this. I am always glad to help with any questions I can answer. andrewcustis@rangertugs.com
The magnet does serve a purpose on our tugs. With "Autopilot installed there are too many wires for that magnet to hold the door up." Thats why you have a teak latch. We have yet to here that this was interfering with the compass until now. We will look further into this.
I have tried to duplicate this problem several times during my seatrials. The pump is as low as we can get it in the tug. One thing I have found to work very well if it wasn't getting primed was to fire the AC before releasing it off the trailer. By doing this the stern of the boat sets...
