    Thanks. @trpsurf - I'm also a surfer by the way. One of the things I want to use the boat for is to anchor off Pt. Loma to catch some of those waves. I'll drop you an email, Huntington Harbor isn't that far away so I'd definitely like to come by and take a look. Paul

    Thanks for the tip Doryman. Found 3 CD22 owners in my area so hopefully one of those is still around. Good shots of the interior, thanks Sunbeam. Looks like it might not be too tough to alter, but will definitely need to see one in person to see how those modifications might effect the rest...

    I did something similar on a 22' sailboat I had a long while back. Managed to extend the berth to almost 7' in length. To this day that was the most comfortable boat I've ever slept on. ;) Are there any CD22 (or even a CD25) owners in the San Diego, CA area? I'd love to see one in person.
