Had quite a few adventures with Lew, a most interesting man and one of a kind. He lived his life to the fullest and on his own terms. It was a pleasure to have known him.
Congrats on the purchase of Vega. The second owner of this boat was my Brother-in-law Bernie, an aerospace engineer, who Bernieized it into one of the best equipped 25's around I think.

I must have been hit with a senior moment, all these months I thought my daughter had a trip scheduled for Aug 12th but it turns out we are to leave on Aug 6th! I was looking forward to seeing everyone again, a highlight of the year. The kids still work so time with them is precious, hope to see...

Thank you Colby for all the images and commentary on the trip, I appreciate it. I finally got a new engine for my Jeep and will be picking it up next week, otherwise I would have been enjoying the Miss River adventure with the rest of the group. Maybe next year :)

Yes I modified the bunks so that the aft strap can be threaded through. On my pacific trailer the front strap isn't a problem. I cut the slots and then through bolted 2x8? underneath and it works like a charm
