I was calling about my simrad equipment on the Merlin and found out Rodger’s is closing at the end of the month. This sucks because they are great to deal with and very knowledgeable with good prices too. Not sure where to go after.

Merlin is a getting a few PM items taken care of in preparation for the Florida trip later this year. After that, we’ll see how eager I am to tear into the outboard conversion. Might wait a bit still.

$28,500 is a screaming deal for this boat. It has tons of extras and has been very well maintained.

I have seen a Marinaut at the the Kalama boat launch on the columbia river. Very neat. Looks like a pretty flat bottom also. Does anybody know if there is a significant design difference from the 22'?

Larry, I’m is SW Washington so probably irrelevant but I would take you out in my 22. I think it may be hard to get someone to rent out their boat because I find it unlikely insurance would pay out if something were to go wrong? Does anybody have any input on this?

Sportcraft is great but they are no longer a cdory dealer I’ve never dealt with master marine but they have some major discounts on new boats right now. I think I saw 2025 venture 26 for 175k fully rigged and on a trailer. They had a tomcat 255 new and it was less than i was quoted factory...
