    Problem with Garmin fuel sensor

Thanks for the help, John. Did you mean to replace the Garmin filters, or to just remove them, as I have Racor filters between the sensors and the engines?

    Problem with Garmin fuel sensor

I have twin 90 Hondas on my 25 Cruiser, with a Garmin GFS 10 fuel sensor for each engine. They have worked well for a long, but just recently they are showing readings that are about double (in a good way) the usage of fuel. I updated the Garmin chartplotter, and that didn't make a difference...

    CDory Service San Juan Islands

I have had excellent service from Jesse at Bitterend Boatworks, in Bellingham. This spring I had them paint the bottom and do engine service on my twin Honda 90s. They are accommodating and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them.

    Recommendation for boat service

It seemed like there was a thread for this already, but I couldn't find it, so I will start a new one. I just had Jesse at Bitter End Boatworks, in Bellingham, WA do the yearly engine maintenance on my twin Honda 90s, as well as painting the bottom of my 25 Cruiser. I can't recommend him enough...

V berth access hatches added to 25

I found that since the frames had an overlap edge, I didn't need to worry as much about the straight lines, although it was okay. When I traced around the inside of the frames on the berth before cutting, I just cut a little bit outside the line. Then when I sanded the hatch piece, there was a...

V berth access hatches added to 25

I did use the cut out pieces for each hatch. The material was thick enough to work well for this. The larger frame is 17" x 17", and the other is 17" x 9". The smaller one is on the starboard side which is slightly narrower than the port side. Now you can just lift up the cushion, and slide the...

V berth access hatches added to 25

I noticed that the new 25 C Dorys have access hatches under each cushion in the V berth, so I thought that would be a good thing to add. I see that other people have done this successfully in 22s, and 25s. I contacted the C Dory company, and purchased the two aluminum frames from them for about...
