I put the angled bezel on my CD22. I do not have hydraulic steering though.
I put it on for the height as I have raised the helm seat 2 inches for better visibility.

I have gwin 40 Hondas. I recently bought two new props and had the old ones tuned up.
They are the same size and pitch, but the new ones are a bit slower than the old ones.
I have put the old ones back on and am saving the new for spares.

We have the round Magma and am happy. It does get hot but we seem to be able to adjust it fine.
They are prone to spider webs.
We store it in its bag in a locker under the dinette.
I mounted a base on the splash well so that I canturn it back so any grease drips into the splah well.

I added a agm battery under the vberth on the port side. Then I moved the two engine battery's down to the floor between the fuel tanks.
I also moved the water tank to under the v berth. It is centered.
This all helped with trim and gave me a lot more storage.

I have not changed a big Honda, but I have changed several smaller outboard impellors.
I find that dealing with the shift linkage is the hardest part. Just unding ang redoing the shift connection is different on all the motors I have done.
Some have a little rubber plug in the arm that allows...
I have thought about that. On my bozt everything is seperate, but there is always a deadhead waiting to happen.
I some times carry a 4hp for the dink but do not have a way to mount it on the boat.

I modified the seat in our boat to slide so one could face forward.
Very happy with mod.
Not very difficult to do.
I did not cut out the bulkhead, I like the extra privacy in the bunk.
Cutting it out would probably make entry and exit a lot easier though.

If you just want to lay it down, you may not have to undo everything.
Maybe just unfasten the nuts inside and pull the antenna up enough to clear the bolts and lay it down.
Otherwise you will have to start from the radio and remove the coaxial cable.

The automatic combiner switches work very well. You do not haave to do anything or worry about forgetting to uncombine.
I have one on my boat and love it.

I do not like my hoses laying in the water. I have been thinking about making a little shelf that would lay in the bottom of the splash well and hold the hoses above the bottom. Water would still drain out under the shelf but keep things cleaner.
