I’m still wondering if there was anybody anchored in Tracy arm Cove and if the wave would’ve just passed by or maybe a small rise because of the shape of the cove and the position of the entrance.
I've been using Victron I don't mount them any more because I use them for other things besides them. I like the Bluetooth in them cause I can monitor them from my phone and don't have to climb into the boat. It uses the same app as the battery monitor. I just put an Anderson plug on the batteries.
I have been swimming in the Great Salt Lake during a blow when the waves got so big when the bottom of the wave came by you were standing on the bottom. Of course you had to walk out into the lake about 1/2 mile before it gets deep enough to swim and you float like a cork.
Well you made it through the night that's a win. I spent the night at Lake Powell in shallow water 40 mph winds. I couldn't do anything but tie the boat down. If I would have tried to move I would blow into the rocks. The boat would roll in the wind and hit the rocks on the bottom. I just sat up...
I guess you should check the msds for bleach too. It is just as hazardess as the sodium dichlor neither of these should be used around kids. I found out about it off of the RV forums. After all when you treat a hot tub the kids are going to be swimming in it.
I use 1 teaspoon of Sodium Dichloro-S-Trizinetrione Dihydrate for 20 gallons. It is what they use to treat hot tubs. Fill it, treat it, let it sit for a day, drain it, Refill and use it. Any remainder will dissipate pretty fast. It doesn't stink.
Tom I knew you would call me out on that. I fish as slow as 1 mph for kokanee and around 2 mph for trout. The Garmin autopilot will try to control the boat at a dead stop and not shutdown like the Ray. When you get down to 1-2 mph you will have to adjust the gain to get the boat to not hunt or...
2.5 MPH is a little slow, you could see the motor move all the to the lock position and you will get the stall error. You can adjust the gain if you want to move that slow. The boat wandering a bit at slow speed is a good thing for fishing, makes the baits move up and down a bit in the water...
