Heads-up for those on the trail.
I have a house and dock that's not being used right on the east side of the Okeechobee Lock in Florida.
Shore power and water are turned on at the dock.

Tilt/trim seal blew on the port motor.
Mechanic suggested replacing both sides at the same time, and it was good that he did.
The OEM parts were discountinued and both sides now have new seals and the newer pressure caps which hopefully eliminate any future issues.

I took the boat off the lift and put it in the front drive last month to work on it.
Since then I've had two different guys stop and ask what it is/if they can look/is it for sale?

Another vote for flush mount.
I started with the cheaper rail mount ones and they didn't hold too well and scratched/dented the railing when any big mahi or tuna hit the line.
I switched to the style on the left to avoid the scratches, but they still like to rotate a little on the rail if...
