Classic 24 TomCat for sale by owner

The Kid 'n' me has found a new home with a young, caring family in the Northwest and wishes to thank the many C-Brats that expressed a keen interest in adopting her.

Bob, Thanks for the helpful information regarding cat trailers. I didn't take note of the trailer used to deliver the Kid 'n' me but suspect it may have been a cat trailer temporarily modified for a Tomcat.

Classic 24 TomCat for sale by owner

You're right Jack. A buyer would want to hire an experienced, insured boat hauler. Such a hauler delivered the Kid 'n' me to us without a scratch, properly blocked and strapped to a multipurpose trailer. Photo "Kid-21.jpg" was taken just prior to launching her into the Galveston Yacht Basin...

Classic 24 TomCat for sale by owner

Jack, We didn't plan on moving the Kid 'n' me from the Galveston Yacht Club and Marina, so we saved the expense of a trailer. The marina has a 4-wheel apparatus that enters the water to straddle and lift medium to large boats and carry them onto land: or onto a flatbed trailer to be securely...

    24TC

Could someone give me a ballpark figure on the market value of a 1999 24 Tomcat kept on slings in covered slip, in very good condition with: ca. 150 hr on original pair of Yamaha 100's, diesel stove, sink, dinette/xtra bed, portable head, queen bed, cockpit canopy, Garmin GPS/depth & fish...

Joe, If the amount of concern that people have for one's well being is a measure of how much one is loved, you are a very fortunate man indeed! Wecome home. Kerry and Lisa

    New CD22 sink istallation

Hi Jeff. Congrats on your new boat! Check with the factory about the the tank's height. There should be plenty of space beneath the shelf. The 25 (30?) gal water tank in our 24' TomCat is in the same location and doesn't come anywhere near half way up. If the tank height is a problem, I...

    G-chart for Garmin 235

Jim, I am interested. I believe my Garmin 235 dates to 1999. Do you know if Garmin 235 and Garmin 185 charts are interchangeable? I look forward to hearing from you upon your return. All the best, Kerry

    G-chart for Garmin 235

Our 24 Tomcat came with a Garmin GPS Map 235 Sounder. Rather than replacing the unit with a new model, I'm thinking of keeping it and buying a new hand-held for backup. Admittedly, it is a bit of a dinosaur; however, it works well and seems adequate. Do any of you know where I might obtain a...

    C-Dory Factory Survey

I second Dusty's TC24 comment, "You are not alone, Fred!" But what's with the "ugly" and "butt ugly" references to the 24's design. Are we alone in preferring the 24's lines and appearance to the 255's? Both cats are arguably the best in their class. The price of our used TC24 certainly...
