The problem with vertical HF/VHF antennas mounted on a C-Dory is the lack of a ground plane. I don't know what the solution to that is. Any suggestions, anyone? Personally, I gave up on it and rely on inReach instead. Klaus, VE7KDU

I never had an issue with these engines. They just keep on running. I replaced the spark plugs once and the thermostats need to be replaced once in a while.

Came back from a 5-day trip today and when I wanted to start the engine to flush the saltwater out, the key seems to have given up the ghost. This key has been giving me problems ever since I bought the boat in 2012. Does anyone know where to get a new ignition key switch? Do I have to ask...
