Hi Wayne, Most c-dory models except 16 & 19 's) the area under the v-berth is filled with foam for flotation. I don't recommend cutting into that area!

Sounds like a good plan... there are two of us though, thinking of heading to Neah Bay this weekend. Our anniversery we always go there.... Know some of the locals real well and would love to fish there, we have a great place to camp there as well. Let me know
