We’ve trailered our boat various places over the years but lately it’s getting more stressful and tiring. Do any C-brats know a good boat transport company on the east coast? We’re in Florida and hope to cruise the thousand island area in august.

We’re cruising the Erie Canal and lake Champlain and the camper back gives a lot of extra covered space but when we’re home and in fishing mode it’s stored on land.Cruising yes fishing no.

We had some expired very pistol flares and decided to shoot them off. We live on a farm with no close neighbors and shot them over the pond. We were surprised to find that none of them functioned properly. We keep track of expiration dates but this was an eye opener.

We plan on cruising the finger lakes and Erie starting in early August. Maybe we'll cross paths. Everyone seems to have enjoyed cruising the canal and we're looking forward to it.

I probably shouldn't be too concerned about it. Many of my engine's 1640 hrs have been slow cruising, slow trolling and drift fishing with the engine idling and don't burn oil and have never had milky oil or other problems.

From what I've read the 9 day season was the result of a suit by the environmental defence fund with the backing of commercial fisherman. If the stocks are so low, why let commercial fisherman continue their same harvest?
