Windows stick and sometimes take a great deal of effort to slide them open, especially if the latch is set. Anybody have a remedy to wash out and/or lubricate the grooves the window slides in so that they work more easily?
The ANCO 20-12 blades (rubber insert and metal suspension), were an exact replacement for the wiper blades on my C-Dory, and were super easy to install. Great to have this accomplished! Thanks for all the input!
Talked with an ANCO technical Support rep who referred me to ANCO 20-12 Windshield Wiper Blades on Amazon for $21.92 a pop. We talked a bit and he seemed sure they would work. I ordered 2 and will let you know if they work - fingers crossed!
Some years ago, I managed to find replacement blades at Advance Auto Parts, but they say they now do not have any of the correct kind. I then checked West Marine with no luck. I cannot identify the manufacturer of the wipers on the boat. The blades are 12". Anybody have any info on what...

Thanks for the input - really appreciate. Believe I will have to cut off the shanks of the exposed rivets in order to close the gap between partition and underside of deck. They now pose a problem in not readily matching up to their holes in the partition. Think maybe then can use 2" x 4"...
1999 22' C-Dory. The rivets/fasteners holding the partition up between the cabin and the forward berthing are failing. The upper end of the rivets/fasteners appear to be embedded in the underside of the bow deck, the bottom end fits through drilled holes in the partition - but this end of the...
Sunbeam - Yes, that's the area I'm talking about - thanks very much for your input. I'll be taking a few closer looks at the boat and prior forum leak discussions.
I am having water intrusion into the cabin from each aft side of the base of the entrance to the forward bunk area - where the bulkhead/passageway meets the cabin deck. A break where the bulkhead/deck meet has developed there on each side. Seems like water mainly comes through these areas when...
