HI, jhspear. I saw Obsession from Madison, WI headed west on highway 20 towards Anacortes. I think that was yesterday.

I bought an inexpensive Lenovo Win10x64 laptop ($270 on a BestBuy sale), then upgraded the RAM to 16GB, swapped in a 1TB SSHD, and upgraded Win10 to Pro for better use for development. It turned out quite adequate for not a whole lot of money. For antivirus, my pick is ESET for both Win and Mac.

I got Vue Scan back when I used a Nikon slide scanner. It had been recommended on some professional photo forums I lurked on (not pro myself, just enthusiast). I no longer have that scanner, but have continued to use the software with various flat scanners since then. It's good stuff.

I have a Dropbox basic/free account. I used my laptop to download the guide and put it in a private Dropbox folder. Now, I can download it from Dropbox on any of my devices. If you have trouble downloading directly to a device, this workaround might help.

Nice job on the book. I started with the free loan that comes with my Amazon Prime Unlimited subscription, but like it enough that, half way through, I went ahead and bough a copy I wouldn't have to return.

I'm glad this thread was revived. It's timely, too, as I'm about to take a look at a 26 Venture. If there were no inspection ports added, is there any way to visually detect these leak possibilities? What clues might there be? Like, Half Share, I also wonder how to access the bilge pumps...
