    Looking for a CD 25?

This is not an official sales advertisement yet but we have decided to go to a bigger boat and have an offer in on one. We do love the C Dorys and always will. We had our 22 cruiser for seven years before moving up to the 25 cruiser which we have had for almost eight years. She is a well...

    VBerth Electrical-area cover thingy

I too would like to see what others have done to make a hard cover over the electrical business behind the helm. Our 1999 CD22 had the fiberglass cover. Made for a nice finish. Our CD25 just has the fabric cover and I have never liked it. Cheers, Tom

    Vberth Storage Project-(bilge access)

Thanks for posting your hatch sizes Bob and Alicia. They are a bit bigger than those that I was planning but it is good to know that you have no issues with their sizes. I may make mine a bit larger. Cheers, Tom

    Vberth Storage Project-(bilge access)

Thanks for the replies. BobandAliicia: You nailed it. That's what I am seeking....the Goldilocks size. ssobol: Great idea to put lights and carpet in there. I'll probably do the same....if I am brave enough to make the cuts. Cheers, Tom

    Vberth Storage Project-(bilge access)

I would like to hear from other brats who have done this V-berth storage project on their CD25 about the hatch cut out sizes. I made cardboard templates in three sizes. Port side: 14"X 20" Starboard side: 11"X20" Bow: 16"X16" I want to make sure these openings are not too big for structural...

    I need slippery bunks

Good idea Harvey. I'll look into it. There is a plastics shop in town. I'll see what they have.

    I need slippery bunks

All good suggestions. Thanks everyone. I need a product or application that won't raise the boat on the trailer much as there is less than 1/4 inch clearance to get the boat into the garage. I've looked at some of the products suggested and found they might be too thick to work for me. I can't...

    I need slippery bunks

I have read all I can find here on products one can use to make the boat slide on the bunks better. Without going to an expensive commercial boat trailer bunk product, I was wondering if any brats have come up with an inexpensive, easy to install, home remedy for the problem of too much...

Ceramic Heater on full-time through Winter

Yes, I feel safe with those ceramic heaters. We have two of them onboard over the winter. One in the cabin and one in the bilge to keep the water tank and plumbing from possibly freezing. We use the boat through the winter when the weather allows us to get out so winterizing the water system...

C-Brats: Have you ever owned a VW bus/camper?

Had both a 68 self camperized van and a 68 beetle. After learning my lesson I swore off ever owning another air-cooled vehicle and proud to say I haven't touched one in over 40 years. :) Cheers, Tom
