I dealt with Ruthie and Gary at Cutter Marine too. If anyone from the factory is watching this thread - please do what you can to bring Cutter back as a dealer. They are great people to deal with and they know these boats inside and out. It's a hardship for those of us in the Cheasapeake area...

I have also found the new management to be very supportive. In my case they contributed a fair amount to a repair that they technically did not have to acknowledge. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

Does anyone know the precise size of the cockpit railing on a CD-25? I searched it on the site but did not find that info. It looks like 7/8" diameter - is that correct?

The Tilley hats are sure bumping the applause meter. I will check them, and the pith helmets, too. I'm also reconsidering Charlie's suggestion, if I can figure out a way to get into the v-berth with it on. Thanks for the suggestions.

Mindful of all the advantages to a setup like the one on Dr. Bob's and many other C-Brats boats, in some circumstances a budget bimini makes for the best option. Any CD-25 owners with a Taylor bimini that can comment on the size top they installed -- and how it has been to live with?

Dave W. -- thank you for posting the question. I too have been thinking about a Taylor bimini for my boat and would love to see a response from a C-Brat who has experience with one on a CD-25.
