Glen, Just run a search on this site of single vs twins and then arrange for a few weeks off work to read about this topic! Let's just say that it's come up before! Best regards, Nick "Valkyrie"

    boat values

Steve, I have been a member here since 2005 and have an '05 22, as well. About every six months or so your questions comes up from someone not familiar with C-Dory's,so we are used to hearing it. The answers you received are spot-on. Also, many owners pay cash for their boats and those...

    Upgrading seats?

Kevin, I upgraded the helm seat with mods, not a replacement. Although I am 6'3"' most of my height is in my legs and I found the seat too soft and low. First, I raised the seat with oak blocks (pics in our album). That got me a few inches of added height, but I wanted more so I took the...

    C-Dory in Rough Seas

I certainly wouldn't call those "rough seas" and there is no "small boat in trouble" that i can see. Lots of hype in that copy! Nick "Valkyrie"

    Valkyrie's Lake Erie cruise

Hi Brats, Our short cruise ended with much better weather than we started with. Our run back to US waters was great, especially for Lake Erie. Our course for Kelley's Island was SSW with 75 degree temps, beautiful sun, amazingly clear water and one footers out of the north. Marcia ran the...

  11. Heavily-insulated fish bag secured to the transom rail. It's great when fishing and cruising because it doesn't take up room like another cooler would. When done fishing, if successful,
we put the filets in the bag and add ice and rock salt which freezes them for days.

  13. New sun shade that Marcia made from heavy nylon. It has a sleeve at the top through which I ran a nylon line that ties to the radar arch and the bimini framework. The lower aft corner can be secured by closing it in the lazerette. Clothes pins can be used to secure it to the edge of the coaming box and grab rail at the back of the cabin.
