It's a question of boat balance, also all the control cables and fuel lines are in the way. Since I will be by myself I want to keep the weight from all being on the starboard side.

This looks like a great idea

The headroom in the enclosure is 6'2"' under the Bimini not the cabin. The cabin is 5' 6". The enclosure really makes the boat totally usable. It's like a much larger boat than just 16', since I extends the cabin.

I am in charlotte but on a trailer. Will be going to LNK during the year and over the summer. Will be mostly on the coast and Chesapeak. Alan

Does anyone have a source for the window shield wiper? Mine has a chunk out right in the middle of the blade. I have not found one to replace it. Thanks.

What should be the tongue weight for a 16 ft. Cruiser? The boat I am buying seems to have a weight of over 300 lbs. I have been told it should be 10% of the boat and trailer. That would put it about 150 to 175 lbs. Is that right? Thanks Webminer2 Charlotte, NC "Quiet Time"

Does any one tow a 16' cruiser? If so how well does it tow without a towing package. I am buying a fully loaded 16' which weighs aprox. 1700 pounds. I will be towing it an average of 250 miles to the east coast to the ICW & to the Chesapeak Bay.
