Good data ! For comparison, Adeline gets 2.25 mpg, heavily loaded, with the original Johnson 70 2-stroke.

One thought about chest vs upright designs. When the door of an upright is opened the cold air inside tumbles out creating a slight negative pressure that draws in warm air at the top. On a chest type the cold air stays in place more readily.
