What am I forgetting about? Raw/Fresh water washdown

Glad that you got it figured out. Mine arrived on Thursday, and it was only an hour to install on Friday. I just teed off of an existing line. The house pump (3.4 gpm) puts out more than adequate pressure and flow. No leaks anywhere! I don't know why they put those extra fittings and...

What am I forgetting about? Raw/Fresh water washdown

Thanks Tom and Peter. I just ordered the Jabsco from Amazon. I plan to install a valve like Tom did, and hope that Peter's problem is easily fixable.

What am I forgetting about? Raw/Fresh water washdown

Tom & Joyce, that's kind of the profile I was looking for, but how is it valved? I'm guessing in the head, or does an insert open it

What am I forgetting about? Raw/Fresh water washdown

I like it, and was considering the same thing, but was concerned that it would stick out too far and get in the way. It sounds like you're happy with it, and this looks like an easy accommodation. Like you, I wanted it to flush the engine while on the hook, and for a short shower. Thanks

What am I forgetting about? Raw/Fresh water washdown

I do know that check valves are unreliable, but with a 3-way valve, either source is isolated from the other. That being said, and as you suggested Bob, my first thought was a separate system. I was just trying to be cheap

What am I forgetting about? Raw/Fresh water washdown

I'm thinking about putting a 3-way valve (with a check valve) on the suction side of my existing wash down pump, and be able to draw fresh or raw as desired. It seems too easy, what am I missing? I know it will draw a lot of fresh, but I won't use it that much

Looking for trailer storage in Naples, Florida area

We left our trailer at City Dock for two weeks in January by buying an annual pass ($150 or so), and checking in with the police to let them know. May not work for as long as you want to use it, but it's worth a call to Naples City Hall

    Differences between 2007 and 2017 25 Cruiser.

I see that they opened up the port side bulkhead and shifted the opening to starboard. I like it a lot. It looks like it will be way easier to enter and exit. Is that now standard or did you have it made that way? Either way, it's a great idea

    Weight relationship fore to aft

I'm not the technical guy here, but I think you're over-analyzing this. In the overall scheme, is moving 50lbs forward worth the time and effort? I stand by, ready to be corrected

    Vessel Name?

Jay, lol, glad you see our dilemma. We've taken to saying: Our vessel's name is Here & Now and we're x-minutes away from you. We obviously needed a work-around

    Vessel Name?

I have to second Jay's thoughts on communicating your vessel's name. We named our boat "Here & Now". Every time we radio ahead for a slip, they say: you're here now??

Raymarine EV-100 and need for rudder position indicator

This was a long-ish thread, but if you've followed it, it started with my AP going off course. I received the best customer service I've ever received from Raymarine in Nashua NH. I sent my stuff back to them last Wednesday, and one week later I was Fedexed back updated components and an...
