    Ladder for bow?

BobLiz, I planned on going to Lake Powell with our TomCat and had a bracket made from Stainless to mount the TomCat Swim ladder to the bow. A mechanical failure caused us to miss the trip and I still have the bracket. PM me for photos and maybe we can make a deal!

ARE 200 hp Suzukis too much for the 255 Tomcat?

As I recall, a few years back, the max HP for the TC255 was raised to 350. That's when we started to see the 175 Suzukis used. My slogan has always been, "You can never have too much HorsePower" !

    Voltmeter Gauge Reading

Robert, Unless you have a house battery that is disconnected from the charging system, and the gauge is hooked to it, I would bet on a bad gauge. The whole system should show charging voltage when underway; somewhere around 14.4v.

    Biiiiiig Fish Story

This morning's Peninsula Daily News had a wonderful story about a man from Edmonds, WA who was fascinated by stories and videos of folks catching fish, even Halibut, from Kayaks. He took lessons, bought a Kayak, practiced fishing in Lakes and May 14 he made his dreams come true. After a long...

If you are using your boat regualry using E-10 fuel is not a problem. It's storing the boat with the Ethanol laced fuel that causes the problems. Millions of vehicles use E-10 regularly without problems. Enjoy the trip and look for the cheapest fuel!

    Trailer tires - I don't get it.

Reddog, I agree with your assesment of ST tires completely. As far as the warranty, I have a different take. Having switched to the "Dark Side" (RVing) a few years ago, I became the owner of Goodyear Marathons. After descending Siskiyou Grade into Ashland OR, the LR blew out and lost it's...

I've heard of a boy in a bubble....

I think the "craft" should have been scuttled after the rescue. Some people need to be rescued from themselves!

    Trailer Tires

Mark, If one side of the tire is wearing, it is an alignment problem. My local body shop has an alignment rack and it's money well spent to have someone check the alignment specs on the trailer while loaded. Alignment is adjusted by bending the axles. Having switched to the Dark Side (RVing) in...

EQ Marine ???? Update from Pacific North West Area Please

I too drove that boat at a Sequim Bay CBGT. The Suzuki should be a great match. When I drove the boat it had an E-Tec and the boat seemed light in the stern. Good luck and safe voyages.

    Honda 135 HP engine shutdown-intermittent

There is an overheat protection feature built in to the processor. These engines have 4 temp sensors. It only takes one bad one to kill the motor. BTDT. There is a test procedure for the sensors. I missed a trip to Lake Powell waiting for a new one.

    Trailer tires - I don't get it.

Here's a 16" Load range E Goodyear Marathon: I replaced all four with Michelin XPS Ribs, LT rated with a steel belt in the sidewall. At least Goodyear paid $1300 for the tire, service call and body damage to my trailer! I'll pass on ST Rated tires, especially those made in China. The testing...
