    05/20 - 05/23 - Carolina Loop

Toni and I left our boat in North Carolina and plan to reunite with it in April and maybe do some of the intra coastal. This sounds like fun if we are in the area when it takes place. Our problem is we are better with directions and temperatures than schedules, we understand SOUTH and we have a...

Cool trip Andersons, if we hadn't left Traveler in N.C. we would have been on Sucia waiting for you. See you this weekend.

    Key West Cruise

I think Garrison Bight marina is economically the best and I believe you can store your truck & trailer there as well. You would be about a 20 minute walk to Duval street down town but you can rent bicycles, quite cheap, close to the marina. I am sure if you call the friendly harbor master he...

    first snow in marysville

Tom and NW friends, We made a 50 mile run from Boot Key Harbor to Key West today. Arrived at 1:00 pm, in time to go out to the pool for a few cold ones to cool down from the 80 degree temperature. On the way I threw out a Tuna rig and had all the line stripped off in about ten seconds. (we...

Pat and Patty's Great New Galley Countertop Project

ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! I mean that you have the exact same names as some good friends of ours that live in Fall City that have very few constructive skills. Really, I am very impressed. Your confidence level must be on an entirely different level now. Well done and congratulations.

    New Ranger 27 Tug

I am not aware of any cold weather options but the factory is very accommodating and I think if you e-mailed your questions to them they would respond.

    New Ranger 27 Tug

Thanks all for the congrats, we are pretty happy. We still miss a lot of things we could do on the C-Dory that we can't do on the Ranger. With a single fixed screw we are way more conscious of shallow water and we probably won't be beaching the tug. But there is more room for "stuff", more...

    New Ranger 27 Tug

Andrew, at the factory, told us it would draw 28". Fully loaded for cruising we weighed 10,100 lbs. on the aluminum 2 axle Float-On trailer. Fuel economy has been roughly 6 mph/6 mpg, 10 mph/3 mpg, 15 mph/ 2.5 mpg, and top speed 20 mph (+/-) 2.2 mpg.

The boat in the video just happens to be ours. We took delivery two weeks ago and have been working our way north from Olympia to the Bellingham gathering, at sea for 8 days now and loving it.

    South Sound points of interest

We got underway this morning on our northward journey. We met Robbi and rafted up at Hope island to give her a tour of the new digs and get some more ideas on where to visit. She took some action photos of the new Traveler and we down loaded those on the computer, thank you Robbi. We hiked...
